Going Slow to Move Fast

Every New Year, I fall into the usual trap of making resolutions that are inevitably forgotten within a few weeks, days, or even hours. I see the calendar turning over as a new beginning. A chance to sweep away things that detract from me being my best me and opening the doors to new opportunities.

Of course, it all ends up being a mirage as life takes over.

This year, I’ve thought about changing my approach. Rather than create an elaborate and grandiose plan for personal transformation, I’ve realized less is more and I need to think and act logically and reasonably.

I’ve made plenty of mistakes that have led me to this realization and I expect I will make many, many more.

Hopefully, each new mistake will come with a lesson that I can carry forward.
