Timing is Everything

You’ve prepared the land, you’ve collected the seeds, and you’ve let them rest. Now, you’re ready to plant a prairie, right?

Hold on. Your best best for a successful next step is to work with Mother Nature. However, she doesn’t always work on your timeline so patience is everything.

Well, actually timing is everything.

One may think of springtime as the time to plant. However, a prairie can get its start in the dead of winter. Think of it, you are essentially replicating what other Nature already does. Plants create seeds and drop seeds. Some seeds may get eaten by hungry animals , get blown, away, or if they’re lucky find a nice spot where they can work their way into the ground and become a plant when the time is right.

But when is the time right?

Probably when you least expect it.
